Hi, my name is Martin. I was born in 1978 and I live in Germany. Usually.
After some time in school, university and job I decided to go on a world trip in 2012.
I definitely wanted to see Japan again (I was there in 2006 for an internship) and I had to visit Russia to see a friends wedding. Everything else was done without any plan, just took things as they came.
I met a lot of interesting people on my way, including my now wife Olga.
After three years, wanderlust got me again. I bought a nice car to do the next trip to the east. Visiting friends, seeing new places, meeting a lot of people. This time it was a lot more organized, but still full of surprises.

Please also visit my Facebook page, You will find it here: https://www.facebook.com/doublefrontlight

If you’re wondering about the name of the page: Its from my 2012 bicycle:

20120923_Fahrrad2

Year of production: ~1975
Wheels: 26″
Gears: 5
Engine: 1 menpower
Vmax: 67km/h
And a Double Front Light!

Please forgive bad spelling and unusual grammar and read this pages with some strong german accent. Thanks

  4. Hi, Mertine-san, I’m at my old home, with my pairents, my elder broher, and my wife,
because it’s a last of the year!
And, by the way, I’m interrested in your “Double front light” after in German.
Acording to one Japanese show us, it nees some modification to ride inside German.
If you have any episode about it, please tell us its detail. 🙂

    Dein Marzio

  10. Hi, Martin-san. I remember I rode a bicycle like yours when I watched it on TV. Double front light, semi-drop handle, 5 gears, portable air pomp. They’re absolutely same! And I ‘m interested in your adventure to Japan, Neko-bus is wonderful, isn’t it? By the way, I’d like to say it “Triple front light”. How does the top of light work?

    1. Its a pity these bikes are not produced any more. They were wonderful.
And the third light on the roof: Its a searchlight. It can be turned right and left from inside. One of the few benefits of having an ex military car 🙂
